NILSMC Tent City

The Tent City will OPEN from 1pm Saturday 30 October and CLOSE at 10am Saturday 6 November.

The tent city is located within the conference site on the Broken Hill Regional Events Centre.

Conference delegates can choose from three ‘tent city’ accommodation packages.

All tents have two beds and are twin share unless otherwise requested.

All tents (Option 1) have access to power. Camping sites (Option 2 & Option 3) do not have access to power.

In packages one and two, the meal service consists of breakfast and dinner. The meals service will commence from dinner on Saturday 30 October and conclude at breakfast on Saturday 6 November.

All three packages include access to the communal ‘comfort hub’, kitchen, amenities (showers and toilets) and the services as listed below.

The kitchen and the communal ‘comfort hub’ includes television, board-games, limited snacks, water and tea and coffee making facilities at all times (24-hours). Please note, the kitchen and comfort hub do not have cooking facilities.

A tent city supervisor and security will be on site at all times (24-hours).

Tent City services

  • First Aid - available 24-hours to all delegates
  • Mini-Bus service - daily roster
  • Ironing facilities - daily
  • Laundry Services - daily service (additional charge)

Delegates can choose from one of the following tent city packages:

Package One (1) - Tent City
$100 per person per night (twin share)  
Tent, bed, sheet, pillow, doona and blanket, lighting, vinyl floor, breakfast, dinner (except Wednesday night’s dinner), amenities, access to kitchen and comfort hub. Cost is for full or part day.

Package Two (2) - Camping and Meals Only
$55 per person per night
Tent site (bringing own tent and bedding), breakfast, dinner (except Wednesday night’s dinner), amenities, access to kitchen and comfort hub. Cost is for full or part day.

Package Three (3) - Camping Only
$25 per person per night
Tent site only (bringing own tent and bedding). This option does NOT include any meals, but does include access to kitchen and amenities.
